When Randy and Sue, President and First Lady of the Michigan Country Music Hall of Fame, first approached me I was only 17 and very uncomfortable with stage performance. But I was intrigued by the organization and wanted to know more about what they had going on.
They asked me to prepare a song and sing with them the next day. I thought they were crazy! No way could I prepare a song and sing with them, a whole new band, and a set of people that quickly. Yet, here I am today, two years later fronting a show, singing not 1 or 3 songs, but 8 songs!
Randy and Sue, and all the other members of the band, have helped me grow as both an artist and a young woman. I have become more confident both on stage and off stage, and with that same level of confidence, believe that my voice has also grown and matured.
I thank Randy and Sue and the entire band for being so patient and helpful in all that we do, and I can’t wait to perform more with them all
